# Welcome to the Herd 🐘

**Project Overview**

Dumbo Dollars is a decentralized token built on the Solana blockchain designed to raise awareness and provide financial support to the Outamba-Kilimi sanctuary, a massive 1,109 km2 elephant sanctuary located in Sierra Leone, Africa. Through the power of our Exclusive Acres, Dumbo NFTs and Dumbo Dollars cryptocurrency, the Dumbo Dollars project connects global supporters to wildlife conservation efforts, specifically for the protection and preservation of elephants. The project will leverage the popularity of NFTs to fund a vital cause while engaging a global community of animal lovers, crypto enthusiasts, and conservationists.

This project was created directly in partnership with the Minister of Environment and Climate Change in Sierra Leone.

#### Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide sustainable funding for the Outamba-Kilimi Sierra Leone Elephant Sanctuary, creating a digital ecosystem around the sanctuary where participants can engage with the cause through NFTs, tokens, and community-driven initiatives.
